Firstly, I want to thank everyone who sent me kind wishes after my accident last week. I could not reply to everyone individually as the emails were so many. It really warms my heart to know so many people care about me. May Allah bless you all.

I have spent a lot of time this year trying to figure out a way to make Islamic Self Help sustainable. I want to focus on my writings and teachings here fulltime, but currently course and ebook sales are low. I have to work multiple jobs while making time for this website a few hours per week just to get by. With my current workload, I am barely able to make time to record one video per week and write one article every other week. Book writing has slowed down as well.

However, I am currently experimenting with some new ideas on how to make this website financially sustainable, so that I can give these classes and books my full attention. One idea I had was to create a paid subscription model. Currently, Islamic Self Help has over 7000 registered students. If even 100 could contribute $50 monthly in exchange for access to all our resources, it would be enough to power a fulltime focus on this website. With this focus, I can produce more videos, blogs, and ebooks, while improving the quality of our content too.

So I am just throwing this idea out there for now, do you think this idea is workable? Do we have enough supporters to power a fulltime focus on Islamic Self Help?
